The house is furnished with antiques and treasures from local auctions and antique shops. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you might need to prepare a midnight snack or a full delicious meal as you sit at the kitchen table and enjoy an incredible view of the Missouri River. Upstairs a queen size canopy bed, complete with a handmade quilt, fits under the eaves. The spacious bedroom offers a view of the river and the city gazebo from the west window. You can stroll along the river on the newly constructed walkway, or you can browse through area antique shops. You will be in the heart of Missouri wine country, so you can sample local wines or visit the nearby towns of Hermann, Washington or Augusta. From every room in the house and from the two porches you can enjoy an amazing view of the river or a picturesque view of the flower gardens. You can sit on one of the porches and enjoy your continental breakfast, or you can sip a glass of wine and perhaps be lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset.
